Amelec’s ADM231X-8 is a Multi Output Signal Isolator/Splitter, which is suitable for use with SIL1 and SIL2 (IEC61508) safety loop applications, as 1oo1 architecture (HFT:0). Input is any current or voltage drive (DC) that can be terminated in a PI network to produce a 400mV span. Output has up to 8 isolated outputs; any standard process current or voltage ranges may be specified for each. In addition to these 8 isolated output channels, it is possible to connect to the input of further multi-output signal splitter units, via the non-isolated ‘ADD O/P’ port terminals.
